I used white and red paint and just free handed it, I didn’t use tape or anything. For the jelly I painted a red beanie to look like the Smucker’s lid. I wanted to add a little something to the costumes, so I added hats to be the lids. When putting the design on the shirt, I did each color separately and then I had to do each letter separately because of the way the design is, there was a little movement and the letters were completely even like in the word.įor the bread, I used a plain white shirt and then used the colors red, royal and yellow.Īnd that’s it for the shirts! Aren’t they so cool? I love how they turned out! I cut out the word in the background but you don’t have to do this, you can layer smooth heat transfer vinyl. I did each layer separately and for each layer I used a heat press cover sheet to protect the HTV.įor the peanut butter shirt, I used a plain brown shirt and then used the EasyWeed HTV in colors white, red, green and royal. You can also do this with an iron, just make sure you put enough pressure onto the shirt so that it gets a nice seal. Using my heat press, I first pressed the shirt (without the HTV) to get the moisture and wrinkles out and then I put down the white HTV and pressed it at 305 degrees for 15 seconds.
